Newsletter Archive: A Lot Has Happened

Hey Everybody!

It is hard to believe that is have been two months since our last email update.  Holy cow, time flies!

As many of you know, we finished up a short tour of Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.  We were slated to appear in Knoxville, but a couple days before we were supposed to perform, the venue was seized by creditors.  Fortunately, we heard about the situation in Knoxville from a fan via Facebook while we were still in Kentucky, and we were spared an eight hours of wasted time on the road.  It is an interesting business for sure.

Other than a couple small hiccups, the tour was great.  We were all very pleased that we got along so well as a band.  I know that I was not alone in wishing that we could have kept going.  We are all looking forward to getting back out on road.

Thanks again for your support of the band.  If you know anyone who may be into our show, please send them this link to sign up for our newsletter.

Video Shoot

It has been quite some time since our last videos were produced, and we are getting a lot more attention from venues and agents around the country.  So we felt that it would be important to shoot a new video of our live show. We hired a video crew with 4K professional production cameras to come in and do two days of video shooting with us at the Waconia Performing Arts Center.  The shoot went extremely well, and we are really looking forward to seeing the new videos.  We will make an announcement as soon as the new video footage is released.  Stay Tuned!

2019 Tour

Q:  So, what does it take for a regionally-performing band who plays on the weekends to become a nationally-touring act?
A:  An insane amount of work.

A couple of months ago, we created a plan to transition Run Like Hell into a full-time touring band starting in January.  This is proving to be a very tall order as it requires a Herculean effort to contact enough venues and agencies to book 100+ shows over the next few months.  But, we are going for it.

Are we crazy?  Probably a little bit.  But, success belongs to the bold, and we believe that we have the rare combination of talents, support personnel, and resources to make this happen.  We are not afraid of hard work and have been very dedicated to this band since its inception.

How can you help?  The biggest hurdle that we need to overcome is being unknown outside of the Minnesota area.  So, if you would like to help Run Like Hell be successful, the most important thing you can do is to tell your friends about us and to share our Facebook posts on your timeline.  Social media is a powerful, but easy and inexpensive way to help get the word out about the band.

We have been blessed with a lot of really great supporters and fans and without you, none of this would be possible.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
